Havent been around much, i dont see you on the Yahoo instant messager either. How are you doing and feeling all is well with me

So guess what ? I have decided to get knee replacement I should have the operation about mid August just waiting for my next appt with the Surgeon and filling out all the paperwork for disablity and medical insurance, I will be in the hosp for 3 days after surgery and then transported to a Rehabilitation Center and Live there for 1 month and have 24/7 Rehab so I can get back to work in a months time instead of the normal 3 months of Rehab that you do on your own.
the Rehab I am going to is the state of the art and now get this
it has a 24 hour Cafe / hair sytlist everything, its the top notch
rehab for all ortho surgery is like the betty ford clinic The brochure
states every day at noon is a cocktail party i guess inbetween the morphine drips and Vicodin you can also have Long Island Iceteas
and to boot My insurance covers this for 30 days 100% coverage not even a co payment, Its kinda set up like a spa They even have an onset physciatrist gonna take advantage of it and get the few loose screws i have tightened up... LOL

Ok so tell me whats up with you medically since we last spoke things where going to well

Chaz , Sounds like a good way to get rid of your pain without missing too much work.I'm glad your taking advantage of it.I've needed knee replacement for 5 years and have just had too many problems to take care of it.I've just got so many things wrong with me that they are having a race to see which one kills me first.I just don't worry about it. I live day to day and month to month. My mother always told me to not worry about things I have no control over . I hope you get back on your feet soon without all the pain.I may go for a F2F as soon as I get one in Columbus , Ohio or closer but as of now I am buying my meds off the street from people I know untill something breaks.Thanks for the belated birthday wish and you take care of yourself. So give me the update on your health issues are you feeling any better.

I am just plotting along waiting for my next appt with the surgeon on 7/13
to find out what is my next step for the surgery, I hate this waiting i just want to get it over with get recooped and be on my way to walking pain free..

It's rare he does it, so I'm not worried him being addicted. Anyway, he ended up cleaning my house, washing the dishes and mowing my grass!! HaHa, that was great for me. He's normally a very laid-back person and doesn't talk that much. Speed surely changes him totally!! Glad it doesn't make him mean like it does some people.

Hey ben give me a holler and let me know how you are feeling dear. What are you doing for the summer.

I have my surgery date all set its for 7/21 heading down south by moms house and having it done there so she can help me recoop. I have 3 months off from work short term disablity wooohooo at 60% pay, and about a month ago i got a whopping raise so that will help me make up the difference . I will pay up my rent and car payment ahead of time for the three months this way i have nothing to get in te way while i am recooping and then disabilty check will just go in the bad, wont have need for funds since Mom will feed me taking the cat with me on that long ass drive down there for 16 hours dont know how she is going to take to being in the car so long. but i rather do that then to put her in a kennel for 3 months at 400 a month that would be so cruel to send her away better with me to help me recoop at least i wont be sleeping alone in the bed LOL.

give me up dates on how you are feeling and what is what with the family and your summer plans. I pray your feeling a little bit better and that your getting some kind of pain relief.

Chaz , I'm going to give you some advice about your cat.Make sure you get pet hauler and keep it covered while your car is moving.A cat can be as sweet and lovable at home but when you put them in a moving vehicle they will go crazy.I put mine in a box on the back seat and a few miles down the road it came straight up out of the box and was all over my car.Under my gas feed and brake pedal and damn near wrecked my car.They have a panic attack when put in a vehicle.Put it in a carrier that it can not get out untill you get to your destination because if you let them out they will panic and run away.As for my health I have more trouble than 10 men. I have recently been put on Dialysis . Monday,Wednesday and Friday for 4 hours per day.I have Polycystic Kidney Disease.A hereditary Kidney Disease. I also have Prostate Cancer and a lesion on my upper spine .So you see besides all my pain from my back I have all these other problems that are having a race to see which one kills me first.I hope you have a successfull surgery and return to work with good knees.You ought to buy some of those drugs your friend takes and when he visits you can get your house cleaned free LOL.Tell your mother Hi and to take care of you and not to feed you too much LOL Let me know how your doing and I will talk to you later. Wow ben sorry to hear all the bad things , i wasnt aware it was that bad for you dude. And to think all this time they treated you like a drug seeker and not understanding you pain was real, are they still giving you a hard time for pain meds they should be giving you what ever you need at this point and time, Hang in there honey my prayers and thoughts are with you 24/7 honestly.

I should eek out ok with my surgery not too worried about it been spending more time in my head about the long ass travel in the car with the kitty kat..... she has been in a car a few times when i take her to the groomer she dont like the cat carrier she calms down for a while and then starts up with the whinning and clawing at the netting in the carry bag and then calms down again, i am putting a 3 point harness on her the ones that her legs go thru it, i will keep her in the carrier until i get to the jersey turnpike by them she will have gotten used to the car and i will let her out once i am on a decent road, i dont forsee her going nuts she will of course be nosy and want to check out every inch on ny suv but eventully she will calm down and sit next to me in the front seat i will bring her blankie and pillow that has her smell on it so she wont be too confused about the car ride it going to be a grueling 15 hours if i dont stop besides peeing and gas fill up, but with the harness on her i can put a lease on her when i stop so she wont bolt from the car. Like i said it going to be an adventure for sure,

Chaz , I don't know how you can drive straight through. I used to but I started falling asleep so I started getting a motel Just south of Atlanta.There's a nice little motel there with a bar right beside it so I didn't have to worry about a DUI. A couple beers and a good nights sleep made me fresh and energized the next morning.I appreciate your concern about my health but I just don't worry about it.My mama always taught me not to worry about things you have no control over.Other than my kids you are the only one I ever told about my condition.It makes you appreciate all the good things in your life.Money no longer rules your way of life .I only live day to day and week to week.Except for the 4 hours 3 times a week I pretty much do what I want to do. I can buy pain meds off the street as cheap as paying for F2F and drugs and shipping. The ROP's know that people are desperate and are raising their prices accordingly.I can no longer afford it.db.com VIP is so dead I quit paying them and now only frequent the free side.Sorry it took me so long to answer but I have been trying to help my youngest son clear a bunch of trees an get a dozer in and level it all up so he can build a garage next to his house. Of course I am paying for the most of it but I figured you can't take it with you so I will give it to him while I'm still alive.At least I know he didn't blow the money.Well you take care and let me know how you are doing. well i made it down south did it in 12 hours straight with 2 pee stops and a speeding ticket in VA sucks cost me 176 bucks i was going 81 in a 65 zone My kittie was a pure princess i let her out of her bag in NJ and she stay in the passanger seat next to me and slept or just chilled out no problems from her, i cant believe i did it with 2 10 mins stops at munched away on some cookies and drank diet coke wanst hungry just wanted to get the driving out of the way i got to moms house at a home cooked meal took a shower and slept like a baby with my kittie with me in bed she is finally get used to being here the other cat my mom house is upset and when the encounter each other is like a mexican standoff staring contest its funny but now fights just some hissing

my doctors appt is for this thursday i will keep you posted on what is happening for now my mom had an appt also we think i iwll have my surgery take a month to recoop and she will have the same surgery and i will care for her for a month and we both can go to rehab to gether its 3 times a week for 3 hours a day

i went to the doc and all is set my surgery is for the 21st woohoo its moving along fast now
he said i should be in the hospital from 3-5 days then back to moms house after 4 weeks of rehab and rest mom will go in and have her left knee replaced also then i can be here to help her recoop also . I have a total of 3 months off from work to get all this completed and everyone back up on there own 2 feet then Lee will fly here down south and spend a couple of days sightseeing and drive me and the kittie back home, back to my normal life and work. yesterday i was here a full week and its not my life back home living in the city there is so much more to do and lots of peeps around I am kinda bored here thank god i have my lap top and the swimming pool i do about 2 hours a day of swimming i go once in the morning for an hour and later in the evening for another hour , the doc told me i needed to build back up my quads and calf muscles this way they will be toned and heal faster so i can be back standing on to feet
how are you feeling. how are you dealing with the heat this summer and the humitity.

Hey girl , I got tired of checking and not seeing a post so I quit checking for a while. All I get done is going up and down the road to dialysis 3 times a week.I'm feeling a lot better. except for my back.sitting in a chair 4 hours a day 3 days a week just kills my back.The pain pills has all dried up and I can't do F2F because the doctor will see I'm on dialysis and refuse to give me my pain meds.I need my back and my knees operated on but I am waiting on my Medicare Part A & B to kick in.I still drink a few beers every once in a while.I get drunk a lot easier but theres not much to do around here.My son went to Garden City N.C. down by Myrtle Beach. Rented a 10 room condominium right on the beach for $2,500. And a golf cart to drive for $250 a week.There going deep sea fishing tomorrow.Theres 5 couples splitting the cost of all this so it doesn't break every body up.I hope your surgery goes great and you bounce back and can live without pain .
