Chaz , That's a beautiful sunset.I hope you all had a fun cruise. You and your mother look a lot alike.I stayed home for Christmas and went to Florida over New Year for a week.Any luck recruiting new members ? We have a new law in Ohio about carrying a concealed weapon. I took the N.R.A. gun training course and went through a vigorous back ground check and today I received my Conceal Weapon Carry Permit making it legal for me to carry my 45 automatic on my person or in my car loaded and ready for action.I feel a lot more protected and secure. Does New York have such a law? Have you heard from anyone ? Did you gain any weight back while you were gone ? New York is getting the first ROP'S with F2F consults in N.Y.City . You will be all set if and when you need to go back to ROP medicine. Ben .

Welcome back Ben

I actually lost weight on the cruise
when we got back both mom and I were hit with a stomach virus so we ate like pigs at a truff
and then we got back home and got sick and lost all the weight we gained and then some, so not a bad deal !
Not one new person has attempted to join this forum, it must be the way its listed in the directory i will have to go back and check it out.
I have not heard one word from anyone
i sent karen an email and no response from her i will have do the same for Gloria also I hope she is doing well.
So with this face to face it means they will provide
a doctor for me to see here in the city and then im set for meds until my refill are up
i have another 4 refills remaining on mine now dont think he will renew them tho so sooner or later i will have to pay the piper and go for this f2f proceedure , i got to spoiled getting this all for free the doc visit and only paying 10 bucks for 120 pills each month i knew it wouldnt last for long.. oh well.

so tell me why do you need to carry a gun. I live in a dangerous city and dont feel the need to carry is the crime big up where you are ???
or is it just a macho thingy ?

Chaz , I live in the poorest county in Ohio. Not a factory in the county .Only jobs are in the power plants and the coal mines. Most people belong to unions(carpenter, boilermakers, concrete and laborer) and have to travel to their jobs and live out of Motels for weeks at a time.People who are not smart or ambitious enough to work manufacture and sell dope.Methamphetamine labs are all over.Since they busted all the drug dealers in Detroit Michigan they all moved down here and across the bridge in WVA. They sell Heroin,Cocaine, crack,Marijuana and pills. Home invasions are frequent and people are murdered in their own home for money to buy drugs.New York is so big that you just don't see all the crime going on around you like we do in a little town like ours.My son was looking online the other day at Ohio prison inmates from our county and my son says that about a third of the kids he went to school with are now in prison.I have a 45 automatic handgun and I just feel safer with it on my person. No one ever knows I have it but me.I go to the shooting range to practice accuracy so if I ever have to use it I will be ready.I am legal in about 30 states .What would you do if someone kicked in your front door and had a gun ? What would you do if your car broke down along a lonely country road and you had no one to protect you ? I protect the people I love and myself because by the time the law gets there your dead. Not a Macho thing just self defense. Ben .

wow i didnt know all that about ohio.
funny the media never talks about ohio like that
in my mind its countryfied and quiet there
What you have told me just blew me away
I would also carry a gun if i felt that way also Ben
Sorry to catagorize you a gun toting macho man.
Wierd that living in a big city as new york and in real life im safer that someone in a rual area of the country. I have so many neighbors that if someone was to try and break in to my home when i was there someone would hear me scream and call the police.. where you are no one is there to hear you thats really scary to me.

We hire at work those boiler makers and laborers and steamfitters here in new york on our construction site alot of them come from WV
we put them up in hotels we calsl those guys who dont live in new york TRAVELERS.. they are usally the nicest guys compared to the new yorkers
well i always had a soft spot for a country boy.
they like comming to new york coz the union make us pay them the new york wage even tho there union still stays in the local they come from
so they guys get paid a hell of lot more when they come here they only bad part they complain about is missing there families most of them go home on the weekend otherwise they all stay in a hotel room for the week they all double up and share the expenses , but they eat out alot and they always take me out for dinner when i hang with then they say im one of the nicest new yorkers they have met while being here in the city

I lived and worked in the Akron ,Ohio area for 35 years. In the big city there are so many things happening that you don't pay that much attention when someone gets killed but in a little town like mine where you know everyone and all their relatives. When someone dies or gets killed most of the time you know them personally. You have to understand the mindset of a drug addict. When they run out of money for drugs they will steal or kill you for the money to buy more drugs.I was in a bar in Canton,Ohio when a druggie walked in and shot the bartender's head off with a shot gun for a stinking $100.00 to buy drugs with.I watched him and couldn't believe my eyes. Drugs turn ordinary people into animals. So if someone kicks your door in and you scream you will be dead before the cops get there. I will kill the S.O.B. and do him and the world a great big favor. Other than that I'm just a big teddy bear LMFAO. Ben .

i sit in this tin can trailer that barely have insulation
the worse part is the cold that comes up from the bottom of the trailer, i have to wear 2 pairs of socks plus dr shol inserts in my Construction boots
and im too cold.... i have my heat up to the 70's in my apartment and when im home i sit with a throw blanket on me and a heating pad on my lap which the cat sits on... i think she thinks i generate that much heat dont think she understands the concept of the heating pad.
